It feels like only yesterday my co-founders (Kat, Andrew, Brett, Laura) and I were sitting around a meeting room table with our very first Big Little Brush samples in hand. We were working out what we liked and didn’t like, what the usability issues would be, and trying to work out how to offer free shipping without blowing all our margin on postage.
Fast forward almost five years and we’ve solved those problems (and more), welcomed some new crew into the BLB fam, said heartfelt goodbyes to others. Celebrated other new businesses, new day jobs, won some awards, and even welcomed a baby or two into the world, which brings us to today.
We’ve prevented over 15,000 plastic toothbrushes from entering landfill and oceans, supported multiple health & hygiene programs in remote parts of Australia, and just recently started working with a second impact partner Children’s Ground (we’re continuing to work with our good mates at Red Dust too). We’ve got heaps more amazing stuff on the horizon which we can’t wait to share over the coming months, but we are at a bit of a crossroads. Two of the very deeply heartfelt goodbyes we’ve said recently were to our key marketers Kat and Ash, so we’re on the lookout for a creative marketing gun to help take Big Little Brush to the next stage.
We have a great product, a beautiful brand, a super supportive customer base, and a great vision for the future (not revealing too much bit it involves more Big Little Stuff… and much more impact).
